MJOLNIR Launcher changelog
Installs the runtime, manages your mods, and launches Halo Campaign Evolved.

Puts back the remastered maps' grass
Remastered maps installed by launcher 0.13 had no grass or decals. The launcher now finds those maps and downloads them again from Updates.
Installs the remastered classic maps
The launcher installs the remastered classic maps, with their grass and decal files, and updates the CE runtime pack they need. Update the launcher first.
Launching the Xbox app version
Play now starts the Xbox app (Game Pass) version of the game, instead of asking for an app to open an ms-xbl link.
Community maps, covers, and links from the website
A Maps tab to find community maps by game type, size and players; screenshots on every mod; and Join and Install buttons on mjolnircore.com that open the launcher.
Installs maps for the running game
The game can ask the launcher to install a map while you play, the same signed install the Maps tab does, so joining a server never needs a restart.
Multiplayer shows what you have installed
Multiplayer stops offering updates you already installed from Updates, and each map shows its installed version.
See your updates download
Updates now shows each download's progress, speed and time left, with a speed graph of the last minute above the list.
Mods that start on slower PCs, and no more Ctrl+R crashes
UE4SS gets two minutes to start instead of 30 seconds, so mods run on slower PCs, and Ctrl+R no longer reloads every mod mid-game.
No more UE4SS console window, and a tidier header
The UE4SS log window no longer opens beside the game (Settings can bring it back), and your account is now a menu in the header.
Your hub sign-in, always in view
The hub sign-in is in the header on every page, and the launcher tells you when it needs renewing. Public multiplayer games in the game use it.
Maps you deleted show as missing
A map whose files were deleted no longer shows as installed. The Multiplayer page offers it again, and launching puts missing files back.
One launcher, not two
Updating no longer leaves a second copy of the launcher behind. Your shortcuts open the current version, and Installed apps lists it once.
Multiplayer, in one click
The new Multiplayer page installs the classic Halo CE maps and everything they need to play with your fireteam. Alpha.
The Xbox app version, found
Mod setup on the Xbox app copy of the game failed looking for a Win64 folder. That build ships in WinGDK; the launcher now finds it, and finds Xbox app installs on its own.
The stub beside every mod is written, not copied
The empty .pak the launcher places beside each installed container is now written from scratch instead of copied from the smallest shipped one.
See who made it
Click an author's name anywhere and their profile opens in the launcher: their avatar, everything they have published, and what that work has drawn.
See what a mod does before you install it
Mod pages now show "What this mod does" — the declared list of every tag edit, texture, and script in the latest release — and mods the community reports are hidden automatically.
Point the launcher at your game
If MJOLNIR cannot find Halo Campaign Evolved, you can now choose the folder yourself instead of being stuck on the Game Not Found screen.
Verifies author-signed mod archives
The launcher refuses to install a community mod whose author signature does not verify, pins each mod's signing key, and warns you when a key changes or is revoked.
Setup installs the mods a new install needs
First-time setup no longer finishes with a modding framework and nothing to run in it, and the rest of the signed mods are now listed in My Mods with an Install button.
The signed badge tells the truth, and updates install quietly
Mods installed by an earlier launcher now verify as signed instead of reading unverified forever, and automatic updates stop interrupting you with an installer prompt.
The signed runtime replaces the modpack
The launcher installs a signed runtime bundle instead of the old modpack, refuses one whose signature does not verify, and stops overwriting your settings.
Automatic updates work for the first time
Fixes automatic updates, which had never worked in any released build: the launcher was silently blocked from checking, and reported the block as "up to date".
The hub release: browse, rate and update mods in the launcher
The launcher becomes a full hub client: mod pages, ratings and comments built in, one Updates screen for everything, and sign-in by pairing.
A Tools tab, and the Tag Editor
Adds a Tools tab that installs and updates companion apps on demand, starting with the new MJOLNIR Tag Editor for browsing and editing the game's tags and textures.
Security: replaces the update signing key
Replaces the key that automatic updates are verified against, after the previous private key was found committed to the public repository.
Update notifications you cannot miss
Fixes automatic updates, which could not verify a download and so never installed one, and adds an update badge that persists after you dismiss the banner.
Install, verify and toggle the mod framework from the launcher
The launcher now installs the UE4SS modding framework for you, verifies every file it wrote, and supports Game Pass copies of Halo Campaign Evolved as well as Steam.
The Windows installer builds again
Fixes the Windows installer, which had stopped building since the branded artwork was added in 0.1.3, leaving several releases without one.

Automatic updates
The launcher can now check for new versions and install them itself, instead of asking you to download a new installer by hand.
